I was taught some basic statistics during my undergraduate classes. I did not understand much at the time and strongly came to believe that my brain was never meant to understand what a regression meant..

But all that changed after I passed out.

 

When I no longer had to mug anything up for my exams, I realized that statistics is actually very interesting!

​

I ended up reading a few introductory books on Statistics and completing some online Classes.

​

My knowledge helped me complete my own thesis with relative ease.

​

I ended up helping with the statistics of my juniors as well as my wife (Actually, I wrote most of her thesis for which I got an honorary mention in the “Acknowledgements” section :P)

I have personally experienced the struggles faced by students during Post graduation courses –

• Long duty hours

• Inadequate knowledge of statistics

• Inadequate time or willpower left at the end of the day to complete the thesis work.

• Uncooperative or sometimes outright nasty guides

• The guides who try and micromanage everything

• The worst of all – guides who consider themselves as gods and think they know everything there is to know in the world of statistics.

 

Over time, more students started approaching me for help in their thesis.After helping out about 50 or so students, I realized that I could really add value to their lives.

At some point in 2023, I decided to make it a more permanent thing.

​

And here we are!
